Ivan is a molecular biologist with passion for innovations in the Life Sciences industry. With + 7 years in academic research at DKFZ in Heidelberg and a PhD in the renal disease area, he spent 4 years in venture capital at MediVentures GmbH, conducting and managing investments activities within the healthcare sector. He served also in the advisory board of portfolio companies, supporting their development, operations and financing activities. After an additional year of medical and clinical activities within the pharmaceutical industry, he decided to take the biotech entrepreneurial path as a co-founder of Cerryx GmbH.

Benjamin is a serial entrepreneur with a strong track record in finance, biotech, IT/SaaS, and digital ventures. As Managing Director of MediVentures GmbH, he specializes in M&A, early-stage investments, and corporate restructuring. Previously, he led Philipp Lahm Holding GmbH, overseeing strategic acquisitions and turnarounds. With a background in law and business informatics, Benjamin combines analytical depth with operational agility—making him a driving force behind scalable innovation and sustainable growth.

Advisor

Jenny has spent her career to date working in the field of gut health. She has a PhD in gastrointestinal immunology and 18 years’ research experience in gastrointestinal disease. Jenny has a keen interest in intestinal inflammation and novel therapeutics to disrupt inflammatory pathways. In 2019 Jenny became Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ferryx LTD. She was in charge of Ferryx's proprietary products development since their early stages and the commercialization over the last 4 years. Jenny has led Ferryx through investment rounds, successful grant funding and into revenue generation via launch of Ferryx's first product, Ferrocalm, in December 2022.

Scientific Advisor

Tristan is a microbiologist with +20 years of expertise in the field of the microbiome and gastrointestinal diseases, with a special focus on animal health and nutrition. He is Co-founder of Ferryx Ltd and a Senior Lecturer in Infectious Disease at the University of Bristol’s Veterinary School, where he has obtained and supervised over $5 Million of research grant funding. As an industry consultant, he works with several companies in the field of veterinary, animal health and feed additives. He has also strong technical competence in the field of bacterial culture development, growth and manufacturing scale-up, areas on which he has advised the Kuwaiti government. He is the scientific and animal health expert at Cerryx.

Business Advisor

Mike is a Nuclear Medicine specialist with 20+ years in the pharmaceutical industry and expertise in clinical development, regulatory strategy and market access focusing on biosimilars. As Global Head of Medical Affairs at Sandoz, he has led the biosimilar medical program, establishing a solid pipeline across Europe and APAC. He has also secured key regulatory approvals, post-approval commitments and strategic partnerships, making him a trusted collaborator for industry leaders, policymakers, and healthcare stakeholders. Co-author of multiple scientific publications, and member of the Comparative Outcomes Group, Mike’s latest milestone was the founding of Targeted Solutions AG (2024), a venture dedicated to advance biosimilar solutions for LMI regions.
